1. Shipping Destinations & Scope

We currently specialise in and exclusively ship to:

  • The United States (USA): All 50 states (excluding P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses for security reasons).
  • The United Kingdom (UK): All regions, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
  • Note: We do not offer shipping to other international destinations at this time to maintain our high service standards for these two regions.

2. Product Pricing & Currency Localization

To ensure a seamless shopping experience, our website uses automatic currency detection:

  • United States: All transactions are processed in US Dollars (USD $).
  • United Kingdom: All transactions are processed in British Pounds (GBP £).
    Prices displayed on the product page include all production costs.

3. Shipping Rates & Transparency

  • 100% Free Standard Shipping: We offer free shipping on every single order, regardless of the size or weight of the mural.
  • No Hidden Fees: There are no handling fees or unexpected surcharges at checkout.

4. Shipping Origin & Logistics Partners

Our design studio is based in Spain, but to offer high-end customisation at scale, our products are dispatched directly from our specialised production hub in China.

  • Carrier Partners: We use top-tier global logistics providers: SunExpress, DHL, and UPS. The choice of carrier depends on the destination and the package dimensions to ensure the fastest delivery.

5. Order Fulfillment Timelines

Understanding our timelines helps you plan your home renovation:

  • Order Cut-Off Time: 2:00 PM (GMT+01:00) Central European Standard Time (Madrid).
  • Order Processing Time: 1–3 business days (Monday–Saturday). This includes custom printing, quality inspection, and protective packaging.
  • Delivery Time: 5–8 business days (Monday–Saturday).
  • Total Estimated Arrival: Most customers receive their murals within 6–11 business days (Monday–Saturday) from the date of order.

6. Tracking Information & Order Status

We believe in keeping you informed every step of the way:

  • Tracking Number: You will receive an automated email with your tracking number within 24–48 hours after your order is dispatched.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: You can track your package on our website or directly via the carrier’s (DHL/UPS/SunExpress) portal.

7. Packaging & Order Protection

Each wall mural is rolled carefully to prevent creases and encased in:

  • Heavy-Duty Moisture-Proof Tubes: To protect against humidity during transit.
  • Reinforced End-Caps: To prevent edge damage.
  • Internal Padding: To ensure the mural does not shift inside the tube.

8. Address Accuracy & Verification

The customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address.

  • Verification: Our system may flag addresses that appear incomplete. In such cases, we will contact you via email, which may delay processing.
  • Failed Delivery: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer or multiple missed delivery attempts, a reshipping fee may apply.

9. Order Cancellation & Modifications

  • 24-Hour Grace Period: You can cancel or change your order details (size, design, address) within 24 hours of placement without any penalty.
  • Post-Shipping Cancellation: If you request a cancellation after the order has been shipped, we must charge a 10% processing & redirect fee.  This covers the logistical costs of stopping or returning the shipment while it is in the international transit network.
  • Change of Address: Address changes after 24 hours cannot be guaranteed, as the package may already be with the international carrier.

10. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction is our priority.

  • Damaged/Incorrect Goods: If the package arrives damaged or the item is incorrect, you must contact us at contact@wall-mural-shop.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Required Evidence: Please attach clear photos of the damaged product and the shipping label/packaging.
  • Resolution: Upon verification, we will send a free replacement immediately at no extra cost to you.

11. Lost or Delayed Packages

While rare, delays can happen due to customs or weather.

  • If your tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days (Monday–Saturday), we will launch an investigation with the carrier. If the package is declared lost, we will issue a full refund or a free replacement.

12. VAT, Taxes & Import Fees

As our premium murals are dispatched directly from our specialised manufacturing facility in China, they are classified as international imports. Because of this, your order may be subject to taxes and duties imposed by your country’s customs department.

A. United States (USA)

  • De Minimis Threshold: Under current U.S. law (Section 321), most imports valued at $800 or less enter the country duty-free.
  • What this means for you: Since most individual wall mural orders are below this value, the majority of our US customers will not have to pay any extra taxes or duties upon delivery.

B. United Kingdom (UK)

  • Import VAT: According to UK tax laws, goods imported from outside the UK are subject to 20% VAT.
  • Customs Duties: For orders exceeding £135, additional customs duties may apply depending on the product classification.
  • Courier Handling Fees: Couriers (such as DHL or UPS) may charge an administrative fee for processing the customs paperwork on your behalf.
  • What this means for you: These fees are not included in the price paid on our website. You will likely receive a notification (via email or SMS) from the courier once the package reaches the UK border, requesting payment before they can complete the final delivery.

C. Customer Responsibilities

  • Payment: All local VAT, import duties, and handling fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Refusal of Delivery: If a customer refuses to pay these charges to the local authorities, the package may be abandoned or returned. In such cases, Wall Mural Shop cannot provide a full refund, and any costs incurred (original shipping + return shipping + storage fees) will be deducted from any potential credit.

D. Our Responsibility

  • Wall Mural Shop covers all costs related to the custom printing, high-quality materials, protective packaging, and the international freight charges from our facility to your destination country.
  • Documentation: We ensure that all packages are shipped with the correct commercial invoices to help speed up the customs clearance process.

13. Security & Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers, we use SSL encryption and fraud detection. If an order is flagged as high-risk, our team will manually verify the details before shipping, which may add 24 hours to the processing time.

14. Sustainability & Packaging

We are committed to reducing waste. Our packaging is designed to be as minimal as possible while still ensuring the 100% safety of your custom wall mural.
