  • Material Texture: Different substrates (peel-and-stick vs. non-woven) absorb ink differently. A design may appear slightly more matte or vibrant depending on the material selected.

  • The "Bleed" Requirement: Walls are rarely perfectly square. We explicitly recommend adding an extra 2-3 inches (5-8 cm) to both the height and width. If you choose to order the exact dimensions of your wall, you accept the risk of gaps or misalignment due to sloping ceilings or uneven floors.
  • Obstacles: Customers must account for doors, windows, and sockets. We provide the mural as a continuous design; any cutting required to fit around obstacles is the customer's responsibility.

3. Surface Compatibility & Installation Liability

The success of our product depends entirely on the surface to which it is applied.

Surface Preparation: Murals must be applied to smooth, clean, and dry surfaces. We are not liable for adhesion failure caused by:

  • Surfaces painted with "Easy-clean," "Washable," "Teflon," or "Anti-graffiti" paints.
  • Damp or freshly painted walls (Paint must cure for at least 4 weeks before application).
  • Textured surfaces (Orange peel, knockdown, or stucco walls).

DIY Risk: While our products are designed for ease of use, installation is a manual process. Wall Mural Shop is not responsible for creases, bubbles, misalignment, or tearing that occurs during the customer's installation process.

4. International Logistics & Delivery Disclaimer

Shipping Origin: You acknowledge that all orders are custom-manufactured and dispatched from our production facility in China.

Estimated Timelines: Delivery windows (e.g., 5-8 days) are estimates, not legal guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Customs inspections, or "border holds."
  • Natural disasters or global health events.
  • Local courier backlogs in the USA or UK.

Customs Duties: For UK customers, any import-related taxes or courier brokerage fees are government-mandated. Our refusal to pay these on your behalf is not grounds for a full refund.

  • Indoor Use Only: Our murals are designed for standard indoor residential or commercial environments. They are not intended for outdoor use or areas with extreme heat/direct exposure to water (e.g., inside a shower stall).
